After 5 minutes of play, FK Mintis Vilnius's Lukas Kulpys made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederik Faurbye was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kristian Ingels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gvidonas Jakimavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gvidonas Jakimavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorleif Dandrup in the 12th minute of play. Lukas Dunauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Frederik Klimek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Gvidonas Jakimavičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Kristian Ingels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Randers A.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Mintis Vilnius the free kick. Kristian Ingels kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Andre Baagland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Randers A.F.C.'s Thorleif Dandrup in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Mintis Vilnius's goalie prevented a goal. Herkus Bagdžiūnas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almantas Baltramaitis to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Baagland came free, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Dons struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gvidonas Jakimavičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Lukas Dunauskas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Frederik Faurbye to make any attempt to save it. Herkus Bagdžiūnas's late challenge caught a Randers A.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herkus Bagdžiūnas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when FK Mintis Vilnius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herkus Bagdžiūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Frederik Klimek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gvidonas Jakimavičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lukas Kulpyss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Frederik Faurbye to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Almantas Baltramaitis came free, but Frederik Faurbye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Kulpys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Frederik Faurbye made a huge save. Gvidonas Jakimavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Baagland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Ingels in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gvidonas Jakimavičius saved FK Mintis Vilnius from getting behind. Juras Damaševicius's late challenge caught a Randers A.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juras Damaševicius helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes, Randers A.F.C.'s Frederik Klimek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gvidonas Jakimavičius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Randers A.F.C. reached it.
