Alfred Dærup hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorben Rittmann in the 7th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Bjørn Toklev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney FC's Axel Ballhaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobbi Mejnholt in the 8th minute of play. Sydney FC's Axel Ballhaus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sydney FC from getting a goal against them. Strib Galacticos IF's Bjørn Toklev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorben Rittmann in the 17th minute of play. Terkild Svarte's late challenge caught a Sydney FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terkild Svarte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Terkild Svarte got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Merten Kilic might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bjørn Toklev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merten Kilic ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Ballhaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbi Mejnholt in the 28th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Strib Galacticos IF's Marko Kværnø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Ballhaus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bjørn Toklev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorben Rittmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bobbi Mejnholt was the one to do the kick off. Axel Ballhaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbi Mejnholt in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Bobbi Mejnholt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Ballhaus. Sydney FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bobbi Mejnholt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Marko Kværnø got a free kick in the 70th minute. Bjørn Toklev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Merten Kilic. In the 74thth minute of the game Axel Schønfeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sydney FC's Axel Ballhaus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Bartolomeo Heinlein elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tizian Borutta kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Constantin Ehrgott hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sydney FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bartolomeo Heinlein hit a great ball.
