Spectators: 209 (Terracing: 157, Seating: 48, VIP seats: 4) Noel Schaffert made the kick off and thus started the match. Bradley Longstaffe came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert. But to his dismay, Noel Schaffert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Ricki Gervais fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Ricki Gervais a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Academica Pulheim's Dariusz Wieberneit got control of the ball when Billie Curtis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bradley Longstaffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Schaffert in the 16th minute of play. Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Biehlert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Academica Pulheim's Roman Biehlert made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bradley Longstaffe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Patrick Toovey got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoph Sönksen in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradley Longstaffe saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. Roman Biehlert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bradley Longstaffe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billie Curtis got free with Dariusz Wieberneit in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gunther Daun hit a great ball. Bradley Longstaffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph Sönksen in the 30th minute of the match. If Roman Biehlert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradley Longstaffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Schaffert, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Schaffert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academica Pulheim's Dariusz Wieberneit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricki Gervais in the 41st minute of play. Stefan Winitzki charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Winitzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stefan Winitzki hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes, Egg Chasers FC's Sebastian Selby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dariusz Wieberneit came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Egg Chasers FC reached it. 45 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Ricki Gervais came free, but Dariusz Wieberneit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricki Gervais made a kick off. Ricki Gervais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dariusz Wieberneit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricki Gervais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's Sebastian Selby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dariusz Wieberneit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Ricki Gervais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Wieberneit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Egg Chasers FC from getting a goal against them. If Ricki Gervais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 97 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Linkletter. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academica Pulheim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
