Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Camillo Colecchia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Flavio Corrente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Martinez in the 3rd minute of play. Medoacus Maior's Flavio Corrente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Cado in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Blaise Castera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. R.C. Marseille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medoacus Maior the free kick. Blaise Castera hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Blaise Castera hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Blaise Castera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Corrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Auguste Lorre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Barbanti in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when Medoacus Maior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Moretta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Colecchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Auguste Lorre having to interfere. Blaise Castera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaise Castera took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Corrente. Flavio Corrente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinand Cado was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Camillo Colecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Ferdinand Cado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Corrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Corrente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mourad Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Blaise Castera could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Flavio Corrente however easily saved by the left post. When Cristoforo Barbanti fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medoacus Maior's protests and gave Cristoforo Barbanti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Cristoforo Barbanti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Corrente made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Blaise Castera sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Medoacus Maior booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honoré Lottin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Medoacus Maior's Flavio Corrente got control of the ball when Ferdinand Cado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Flavio Corrente successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ferdinand Cado scored 2-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Corrente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, R.C. Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Escudié to maneuver through the defense. R.C. Marseille's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
