The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Teodori got free with Eugenio Saturno in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Paoletti in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Saturno saved Stintino FC from getting behind. Eugenio Saturno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Teodori in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Antonio Teodori put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Saturno. A collision led to Stintino FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alfonso Flamini hit a great ball. Eugenio Saturno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Andreola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Colombi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Eugenio Saturno made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Alessandro Colombi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stintino FC's Eugenio Saturno. Eugenio Saturno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stintino FC's Eugenio Saturno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Stintino FC from getting a goal against them. Alessandro Colombi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Eugenio Saturno made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Colombi made a kick off. Alessandro Colombi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Saturno having to make a save. Eugenio Saturno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Colombi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Colombi in the 65th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Saturno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Flavio Foddis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Alessandro Colombi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bianco Maurizi came out of the goal and Alexander De Luca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Flavio Foddis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stintino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Foddis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Maurizi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Alessandro Colombi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Saturno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Stintino FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Orrore. In the 94th minute, Emilio Raiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Saturno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Colombi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stintino FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Talenti Roma Calcio.
