The Green Horses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Borgo Doria F.C. booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Kokkosalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Fasciani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Lakis Zisis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Lakis Zisis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Lakis Zisis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Zisis. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Avraam Liakos hit a great ball. The Green Horses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theodosis Kassapis should have stopped the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Vitale was the one to do the kick off. Cristoforo Cesare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charalambos Kamateros, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Vitale came free, but Theodosis Kassapis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Christos Velis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Cristoforo Talamo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theodosis Kassapis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Vitale in the 57th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Theodosis Kassapis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto La Marca came free, but Theodosis Kassapis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodosis Kassapis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Vitale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Cristoforo Cesare got control of the ball when Lakis Zisis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristoforo Cesare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Borgo Doria F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
