Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damiano Rosato started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Atletico Benevento getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Carter De Vecchis hit a great ball. The long shot by Fabio Aceto in the 3rd minute really tested Alfonso Donato's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Donato Sessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ettore Franco having to make a save. Ettore Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Sessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's goalkeeper Alfonso Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Aceto. After 9 played minutes Atletico Benevento got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Giordani. A collision led to Atletico Benevento getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Donato Cappucci hit a great ball. Alfonso Donato made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Damiano Rosato sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Carter De Vecchis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Benevento's Alfonso Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Rosato in the 15th minute of play. Demetrio Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Fabio Aceto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Donato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Scafati got free with Alfonso Donato in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Donato Sessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sconvols United's Ettore Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Perna in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Damiano Rosato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonso Donato. Damiano Rosato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ettore Giordani made a kick off. Alfonso Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Aceto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Atletico Benevento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Atletico Benevento's Ettore Giordani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ettore Franco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Gagliano in the 58th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Aceto. Biagio Tarantini kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carmine Gagliano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sconvols United's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Gagliano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Alfredo Scafati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes, Dino Perna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Benevento and the Sconvols United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dino Perna hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Damiano Rosato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sconvols United's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Rosato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ettore Giordani in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1-2 became the score in the 85th minute when Ettore Giordani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Dino Perna notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sconvols United's Ettore Franco. Ettore Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atletico Benevento eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
