The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 10 minutes into the game, Keon Starks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyon 69ers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trifillia.FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Keon Starks. Markos Sotiriadis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Yazid Danton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pacôme Bousquiet during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ntinos Kyzeridis got free with Bart Larivière in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Ntinos Kyzeridis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bacary Sagna to maneuver through the defense. Achilleas Karaflas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bart Larivière. Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Periklis Dentsas's late challenge caught a Lyon 69ers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Periklis Dentsas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Periklis Dentsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Yazid Danton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Papanikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Yazid Danton made a precise shot to the right of Ilias Papanikolas. Trifillia.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Yazid Danton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Yazid Danton made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, Omer Garry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilias Papanikolas came out of the goal and Omer Garry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Sotiriadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yazid Danton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilias Papanikolas was a little too slow when Omer Garry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 68th minute, Yazid Danton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lyon 69ers made a substitution. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Larivière showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Periklis Dentsas came free, but Bart Larivière reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Omer Garry fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ilias Papanikolas, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Markos Sotiriadis got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 92nd play minutes Yazid Danton shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Ilias Papanikolas and just under the crossbar into goal. Abraham Allain charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Allain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abraham Allain kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
