Ennio Pizzi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Pizzi came free, but Wesley Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Mitch Lock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Nardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valencia C.F.'s Wesley Kerr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Valencia C.F. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Daniel Lilley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fedele Nardi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Lock in the 27th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Fedele Nardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valencia C.F.'s Alex Hazell got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Comunardo Rullo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Wesley Kerr made a huge save. Wesley Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Rivera in the 38th minute of the match. Fedele Nardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Hepburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Hazell kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Valencia C.F.'s Greg Deveraux was substituted for Mitch Lock. In the 54th minute Ennio Pizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Di Prinzio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Greg Deveraux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Di Prinzio in the 76th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Beppe Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Hepburn came free, but Fedele Nardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Hepburn in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Nardi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Rivera. Fedele Nardi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
