In the 14th minute, Darryl Hepburn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kostas Tsioris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Petros Malioufas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Wesley Kerr made a huge save. After 23 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Lee Kennedy. A hard shot by Diogenis Nestorakis from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Wesley Kerr's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
