Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Aris Voutsas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stefanos Vrettos. Stefanos Vrettos made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Aris Voutsas sent off a good shot on target. Makis Tselementes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Bogias in the 9th minute of the match. Stefanos Vrettos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Voutsas in the 15th minute of play. If Aris Voutsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sheriff's Stefanos Vrettos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Papagiotopoulos in the 18th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Zinon Psikos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Makis Tselementes skillfully saved the ball. After 27 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Anestis Kapataidakis. Alexis Stratigakis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Kasnakidis came free, but Makis Tselementes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Zinon Psikos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sheriff's Stefanos Vrettos got control of the ball when Aris Voutsas tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Makis Tselementes came out and tried to block the shot, but Alkis Bletsas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Sheriff's Emmanouil Gialesakis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Makis Tselementes but with some difficulty. Aris Voutsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Stefanos Vrettos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sheriff defense, Aris Voutsas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefanos Vrettos. The Sheriff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefanos Vrettos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Aris Voutsas got a free kick in the 71st minute. Makis Tselementes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkis Bletsas in the 78th minute of the match. Sheriff's Stefanos Vrettos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Chelis in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Alkis Bletsas lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Makis Tselementes. In the 93rd minute, Kostas Triantopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefanos Vrettos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
