Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marios Giasemakis made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Babbis Zervoudakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thanasis Iliopoulos. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Thomas Samaras's late challenge caught a ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Samaras helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Samaras. 13 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Evripidis Zisimopoulos came free, but Thanasis Iliopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fondas Balouris came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Michalis Bakakos. But to his dismay, Michalis Bakakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Fondas Balouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Bakakos in the 19th minute of play. Fondas Balouris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marios Giasemakis's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 35 minutes into the game, one of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanasis Iliopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolis Papalexiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Dimosthenis Antonopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's protests and gave Dimosthenis Antonopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimosthenis Antonopoulos to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Fokas Kastanos came free, but Fondas Balouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Marios Giasemakis. In the 62nd match minute, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Kotsopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Fondas Balouris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when AFC Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Charalambakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vassilis Maniatis was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Ajax's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AFC Ajax's corner Vassilis Maniatis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fondas Balouris quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Evripidis Zisimopoulos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanasis Iliopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evripidis Zisimopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Evripidis Zisimopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Thanasis Iliopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 82 minutes, Babbis Zervoudakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Zervoudakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Spyros Kotsopoulos notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of AFC Ajax's Thanasis Iliopoulos. Thanasis Iliopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Marios Giasemakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fondas Balouris. That made the score 3-3 in the 92 minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
