Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Marios Giasemakis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Marios Giasemakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marios Giasemakis had several of the Kroton F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Donato Madonna as he didn't even see the shot coming. Donato Madonna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Samaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marios Giasemakis in the 16th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Donato Madonna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ernesto Margoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kroton F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Margoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanasis Iliopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Vassilis Maniatis from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Donato Madonna's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thomas Samaras kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolis Moustakis to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Kroton F.C.'s corner Ciccio Ruggieri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thanasis Iliopoulos quite easily take care of the ball. Donato Madonna made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Marios Giasemakis sent off a good shot on target. If Thomas Samaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Ernesto Margoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Iliopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Madonna stood somewhat misplaced when Marios Giasemakis came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Marios Giasemakiss short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Donato Madonna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th match minute, Kroton F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Hell to maneuver through the defense. Donato Madonna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Giasemakis in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciccio Ruggieri to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Cavaliere in the 54th minute of play forced AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Thanasis Iliopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Takis Platakidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Madonna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Madonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Giasemakis in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Ciccio Ruggieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kroton F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Ruggieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michalis Bakakos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Thanasis Iliopoulos made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Fabio Cavaliere sent off a good shot on target. Kroton F.C.'s Donato Madonna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Giasemakis in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, AFC Ajax's Michalis Bakakos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Madonna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 82 minutes of play, AFC Ajax's Michalis Bakakos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Madonna was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Michalis Bakakos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the AFC Ajax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Bakakos couldn't finish the play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Marios Giasemakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kroton F.C.'s Donato Madonna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Takis Platakidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
