Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raphaël Giacometti made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Fc Kertzfeld's Franck Soumare got control of the ball when Raphaël Giacometti tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Fc Kertzfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Suc didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Saubrigues's Matthieu Macquet got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 11 in the game by Raphaël Giacometti from a close distance when the talented Franck Soumare managed to make a qualified save. Fc Kertzfeld's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Sébastian Gossard took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Franck Soumare to make any attempt to save it. Raphaël Giacometti's late challenge caught a Fc Kertzfeld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphaël Giacometti helped the player get up and apologised. Raphaël Giacometti hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Enzo Bresson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Kertzfeld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Bresson came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthieu Macquet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Franck Soumare made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Christopher Fraval got a free kick in the 25th minute. Franck Soumare was a little too slow when Matthieu Macquet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-1. After 31 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Cazes. In the 32nd minute, Enzo Bresson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Enzo Bresson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franck Soumare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Macquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Johnny Cazeneuve got a free kick in the 36th minute. Raphaël Giacometti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Franck Soumare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphaël Giacometti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Franck Soumare made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Bresson to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathys Mora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Suc, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Fc Kertzfeld's Joey Poncelet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Franck Soumare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastian Gossard in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Dave Suc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathys Mora. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Suc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. A collision led to FC Saubrigues getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dominique Levi hit a great ball. Christopher Fraval's shot from long distance in the 72nd minute was not bad at all, but FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Dave Suc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mathys Mora made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Kertzfeld's Christopher Fraval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathys Mora. That made the score 4-4 after 76 minutes of play. In the 79th minute, Raphaël Giacometti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Saubrigues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. Nathanaël Leprovost hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, FC Saubrigues's Sébastian Gossard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franck Soumare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-4. In the 90th match minute, Fc Kertzfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathanaël Leprovost to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Matthieu Macquet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franck Soumare. Fc Kertzfeld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthieu Macquet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-4. Fc Kertzfeld's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
