Theofilos Papastavrou's late challenge caught a LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avraam Lykoudis got free with Batiste Baudron in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batiste Baudron was a little too slow when Vassilis Tournas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-1. After a rather tough play, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Joaquim Mimouni got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when William Butcher made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Daryl Kremer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vassilis Tournas scored 5-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batiste Baudron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
