Antonio Di Gennaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Mamo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Luca Sciberras, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Antonio Di Gennaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Cini in the 22nd minute of the match. Antonio Di Gennaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Mamo in the 25th minute of play. Seggiano's Antonio Di Gennaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark De Battista in the 27th minute of play. Seggiano's Alessandro Pantalone got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Louis Mamo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Armando Pompilio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Louis Mamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seraċini Għawdxin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Mamo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Claudio Meli hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Anthony Presutti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dejan Cumbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthony Presutti's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Clayton Vella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Louis Mamo succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Dejan Cumbo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Seggiano's Alessandro Pantalone. But to his dismay, Alessandro Pantalone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anthony Presutti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dejan Cumbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Anthony Presutti hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercole Martinelli during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ercole Martinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Seggiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Presutti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Pompilio to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Will Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
