Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Clayton Vella started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Seraċini Għawdxin's Luca Sciberras got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marios Roussakis. Clayton Vella in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marios Roussakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Louis Mamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Punk Fathers's Marios Roussakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Mamo in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Dimitris Papazisis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dejan Cumbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 27 played minutes Seraċini Għawdxin got a freekick which was hit by Luca Callus. Clayton Vella came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marios Roussakis could save by the left post. In the 32nd minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Luca Sciberras went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luca Sciberras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marios Roussakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 40 minutes into the match, Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Marios Roussakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clayton Vella. After a rather tough play, Punk Fathers's Argyris Giotis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Clayton Vella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marios Roussakis having to interfere. Paschalis Karipidis hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Papazisis made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Dimitris Papazisis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dejan Cumbo. Dimitris Papazisis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After having played for 56 minutes, Clayton Vella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seraċini Għawdxin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clayton Vella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Argyris Giotis during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Vella in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marios Roussakis saved Punk Fathers from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Michael Cassar Overend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitris Papazisis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dejan Cumbo having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Punk Fathers's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Vella came free, but Marios Roussakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Punk Fathers's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Mamo came free, but Marios Roussakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punk Fathers's Marios Roussakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Vella in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Papazisis in the 76th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Dejan Cumbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Joe Petroni hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's Louis Mamo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marios Roussakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Clayton Vella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marios Roussakis. Punk Fathers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clayton Vella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After some careless play in the Punk Fathers defense, Louis Mamo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marios Roussakis. The Punk Fathers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marios Roussakis should have stopped the shot.
