Elia Colella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Steve Rizzo made a huge save. Claudio Meli kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Steve Rizzo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amos Lampa. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seraċini Għawdxin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Amos Lampa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Seraċini Għawdxin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hyblae FC the free kick. Steve Rizzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timothy Cini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clayton Vella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clayton Vella got free with Alessio Castellazzi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alessio Castellazzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Cini in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes in the game Edward Gruppetta got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Timothy Cini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alessio Castellazzi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Seraċini Għawdxin's Reuben Caruana got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's Amos Lampa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Cesare Moretta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Rizzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. A wasted opportunity for Seraċini Għawdxin. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
