Roncourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baptiste Bazin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Just Meurisse took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Pierre-Henri Oudard to make any attempt to save it. After 44 played minutes Roncourt got a freekick which was hit by Baptiste Bazin. After a rather tough play, En avant de guingamp's Rodrigue De Castro got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baptiste Bazin to make the kick off. Pierre-Henri Oudard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Just Meurisse in the 77th minute of the match. When Baptiste Bazin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Gabriel Messager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Bruna in the 96th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Roncourt were victorious despite being under pressure from En avant de guingamp for much of the match.
