The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo De Cesaris kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Filippo Maccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bisturi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Maccioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of A.C. Patagonia booed when Bisturi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Del Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Donadoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Paris in the 21st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.C. Patagonia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bisturi F.C. a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Oroni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Toldo. 1-0. The supporters of Bisturi F.C. booed when A.C. In the 40th match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo De Cesaris to maneuver through the defense. Patagonia's Edoardo Paris made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Donadoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Cesare came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cosimo Gaeta made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Gaeta in the 51st minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ercole Cesare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Goffredo got free with Emanuele Donadoni in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Ernesto Bruno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. Patagonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bisturi F.C. the free kick. Ernesto Bruno hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Ennio Tesone replaced Arturo Maldini. The supporters of Bisturi F.C. booed when A.C. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Federico Azzolina got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Emanuele Donadoni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredo De Cesaris showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. After 88 played minutes Bisturi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Cesare. Emanuele Donadoni made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Edoardo Paris sent off a good shot on target. Emanuele Donadoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Corrente in the 94th minute. Attilio Uguccioni hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
