No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flávio Jordão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flávio Jordão kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Torcato Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aprígio Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VB-Team's Aprígio Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Jordão in the 84th minute of play. Hermano Sales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aprígio Campos in the 87th minute of play. During the 87th minute of the match Torcato Caetano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Torcato Caetano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of VB-Team booed when FC Dezassete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torcato Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Fábio Zarco got a free kick in the 89th minute. VB-Team were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
