After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Octávio Macieira got a free kick in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Salinas came free, but Viriato Calheiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Salinas in the 13th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Viriato Calheiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Julio Salinas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Viriato Calheiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viriato Calheiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Salinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Mikel Oyarzabal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alas de Júpiter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Filipe Ventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Ventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Jerrold Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alas de Júpiter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. In the 26th minute, Jerrold Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Calheiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Salinas went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mikel Oyarzabal took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Calheiros. Viriato Calheiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Adalberto Solera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Calheiros. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Calheiros should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Soveral to maneuver through the defense.

After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Alba Jimenez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Calheiros. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Calheiros should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Alas de Júpiter's Mikel Oyarzabal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viriato Calheiros. Viriato Calheiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Soveral during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alas de Júpiter booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Soveral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abundio Molina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Diamantino Soveral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Soveral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Julio Salinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Calheiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Durval Nogueira. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Julio Salinas took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Viriato Calheiros to make any attempt to save it. Abundio Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Ventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
