Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geraldo Lopes kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeferino Castilho in the 7th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Moisés Valentim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Geraldo Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GD JULIO DINIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Lopes in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Valentim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Sporting Tuga FC's António Azeredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Passos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sérgio Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Paulo Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Passos having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when António Azeredo came free, but Sérgio Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Higino Abreu got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Azeredo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Emanuel Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes GD JULIO DINIS got a freekick which was hit by Higino Abreu. 42 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Lopes came free, but Moisés Valentim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Valente was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Sporting Tuga FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GD JULIO DINIS:s goal. Jacob Miranda hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Gustavo Gentil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sporting Tuga FC's Moisés Valentim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Santana in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Geraldo Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moisés Valentim. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Valente in the 73rd minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Sporting Tuga FC were awarded a corner. Jacob Miranda went to the cornerflag to take it. Sporting Tuga FC's Moisés Valentim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, Emanuel Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Tuga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GD JULIO DINIS the free kick. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emanuel Valente hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Moisés Valentim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Gentil. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Valente in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Sporting Tuga FC's Moisés Valentim got control of the ball when Pascoal Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moisés Valentim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Lopes in the 87th minute of play. Higino Abreu's late challenge caught a Sporting Tuga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higino Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Higino Abreu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. GD JULIO DINIS were furious when Higino Abreu was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 93rd minute, Higino Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Geraldo Lopes got a free kick in the 96th minute. The GD JULIO DINIS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GD JULIO DINIS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
