FCSB CUENCA's Hondo santillana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Fernandes in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Manuel Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hondo santillana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Fernandes succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Tiago Cuevas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Manuel Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Hondo santillana. FCSB CUENCA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Linhares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Carlos Linhares got control of the ball when Toni Garrido tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Joselito Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Garrido in the 71st minute of play. The referee showed Toni Garrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FCSB CUENCA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Toni Garrido hit a great ball. When the match was over Sporting Clube de Gaya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCSB CUENCA throughout the match.
