Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geraldo Poças, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Altamora FC's Vítor Pádua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Falcao in the 13th minute of play. Vítor Pádua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Falcao in the 16th minute of the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of FC Beatriz 08 booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Baía didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio Palma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Madeira to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Estrela to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 52 minutes, Pedro Emanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Beatriz 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Emanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geraldo Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Correia in the 60th minute of play. Vítor Pádua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 94thth minute of the game Eurico Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Beatriz 08's Geraldo Poças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Beatriz 08's Vivaldo Horta got a free kick in the 95th minute.
