The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Portugalete getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lazcano Contratas hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Olívio Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicholas Lama came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arrebimba o Malho SLB reached it. Nicholas Lama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almiro Camacho's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After 11 minutes, Almiro Camacho made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Portugalete's Nicholas Lama tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Lúcio Lopes got control of the ball when Jude Bellingham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicholas Lama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Óscar Caires went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Almiro Camacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nicholas Lama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Lama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almiro Camacho in the 40th minute of the match. Almiro Camacho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nicholas Lama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrebimba o Malho SLB. Rogério Azenha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Almiro Camacho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Lama was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. A collision led to Arrebimba o Malho SLB getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sabino Prestes hit a great ball. The Portugalete players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arrebimba o Malho SLB were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jude Bellingham to make the kick off. Lúcio Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Lúcio Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Bellingham in the 55th minute of play. Nicholas Lama made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Januário Martins sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Portugalete defense, Almiro Camacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicholas Lama. The Portugalete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicholas Lama should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domeka Aranzubia during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Portugalete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domeka Aranzubia to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goalkeeper Nicholas Lama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Januário Martins. In the 74th minute, Óscar Caires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Januário Martins hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goal looked a bit too open when Almiro Camacho came free, but Nicholas Lama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
