Peru Cartagena helped the player get up and apologised. Peru Cartagena hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Garaona Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Orozco in the 39th minute of the match. Renato Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Maximiano Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Amancio Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julen Velazquez during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
