When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavier Galaiko made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Hussein Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavi Galaiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Casas in the 59th minute of the match. Tano Gomar hit a great ball. When José Casas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Salelles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Casas couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Buendia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavi Galaiko was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's Torcuato Carballido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipo Guerrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Archibaldo Coya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salelles and the Fillos de Breogán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salelles! The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Salelles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fillos de Breogán had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
