Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Nicolau Poças started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolau Poças didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the game, Januário Madeira landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nel Benítez during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nel Benítez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Augusto Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nel Benítez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Moncho Muelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moncho Muelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Dagora took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Carmona. Luís Carmona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Virgílio Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneas Toxeiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reginaldo Menezes during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute Firmo Quiroga collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 47 minutes into the game, Olavo Vasques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacardi Black Bats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. Olavo Vasques hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Dagora made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicolau Poças's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eneas Toxeiro was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 minutes, Rodrigo Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Bacardi Black Bats players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute Nicolau Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneas Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Vasques. In the 92nd minute, Moncho Muelas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boca Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
