The coaching staff of Club Deportivo O IRIXO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dacio Lara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez made a kick off.
