In the 15th minute Vítor Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertin Ramiréz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Saavedra took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeferino Igrejas. Zeferino Igrejas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Macedo in the 19th minute of play forced Los kyes's goalkeeper Bertin Ramiréz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Altino Tristão got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Campus Douro Academy's zone, Franco Saavedra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeferino Igrejas came out of the goal and Franco Saavedra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidor Zubizarreta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Zeferino Igrejas made a huge save. Bertin Ramiréz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óscar Andrade's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Los kyes's Mero Nobo got a free kick in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Llorian Casals took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Zeferino Igrejas to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the game, Aire Mas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los kyes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campus Douro Academy the free kick. Aire Mas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Campus Douro Academy's Óscar Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertin Ramiréz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Campus Douro Academy reached it. When Campus Douro Academy's Augusto Telinhos in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zeferino Igrejas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Jorge Pinheiro got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Llorian Casals who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campus Douro Academy's Zeferino Igrejas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Vítor Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campus Douro Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertin Ramiréz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Los kyes's Aire Mas got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Isidor Zubizarreta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los kyes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Nacho Canturri fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los kyes's protests and gave Nacho Canturri a yellow card for diving instead. If Augusto Telinhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Caiado. Zeferino Igrejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Llorian Casals, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Augusto Telinhos's late challenge caught a Los kyes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Telinhos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Franco Saavedra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
