Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) In the 6th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Noé Palomares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viriato Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Gitano Iniesta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viriato Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. UE Cornella's Gitano Iniesta got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gitano Iniesta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viriato Leal came out and tried to block the shot, but Gitano Iniesta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Gitano Iniesta notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal. Viriato Leal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. UE Cornella's Fresco Baltanas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Amaro in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes UE Cornella got a freekick which was hit by Noé Palomares. When Gitano Iniesta came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the UE Cornella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gitano Iniesta couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Xantalen Clemente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Clube Patrício's David Madeira got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Viriato Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Medina in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the game David Madeira made a throw-in which Gustavo Ferrão played forward. Gitano Iniesta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viriato Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Gitano Iniesta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UE Cornella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Viriato Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gitano Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UE Cornella's Manolo Figueroa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Egídio Trindade, made in the 74th minute of the game. Gitano Iniesta struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Viriato Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UE Cornella. Noé Palomares kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gitano Iniesta in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Gitano Iniesta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Leal. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Leal should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UE Cornella had played much better football throughout.
