Spectators: 173 (Terracing: 130, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) After 7 minutes, Josep Odín mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Downchester City and the Clube Esportivo Saudade players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Josep Odín hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Domingo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Albizua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Xantalen Mas got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Carlo Domingo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Domingo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Albizua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Carlo Domingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Downchester City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A hard shot 45 in the game by Haimar Fuentes from a close distance when the talented Quentin Albizua managed to make a qualified save. Clube Esportivo Saudade's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikel Tobia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Machado Nieto fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Esportivo Saudade's protests and gave Machado Nieto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Clube Esportivo Saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Machado Nieto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quentin Albizua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Domingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quentin Albizua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haimar Fuentes in the 67th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Carlo Domingo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Xantalen Mas hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Quentin Albizua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Domingo in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Carlo Domingo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Downchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Domingo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
