If Lisandro Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Minho FC's goalkeeper Bento Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xose Idiaquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Bento having to interfere. The supporters of Red Hawk Football Club booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Ponte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Bento Bento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Minho FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Minho FC's Lisandro Leite looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lisandro Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Maurício Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Asteri Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minho FC. Asteri Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After a defensive mix-up in Minho FC's zone, Isidro Bartumeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Bento came out of the goal and Isidro Bartumeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes Red Hawk Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Izquierdo. Frisco Carceles kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Egídio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bento Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xose Idiaquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Maurício Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asteri Martínez having to interfere. Caio Ponte hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Red Hawk Football Club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Omar Sancho hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Minho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Bartumeu came free, but Bento Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Pimentel took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asteri Martínez. Asteri Martínez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 97th minute, Lisandro Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Minho FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
