Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Egídio Trindade made the kick off which started today's match. Silvério Amaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florinio Mendez came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvério Amaro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Albano Jauregui got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Egídio Trindade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Florinio Mendez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florinio Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Amaro in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Silvério Amaro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Clube Esportivo Saudade's Florinio Mendez. Florinio Mendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avellano Sobera during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when Clube Esportivo Saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avellano Sobera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Sporting Clube Patrício's Silvério Amaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 35 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Pedriza came free, but Viriato Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Leal came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Esportivo Saudade's Marcelo Pedriza. But to his dismay, Marcelo Pedriza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Pedriza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egídio Trindade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florinio Mendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Pedriza in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viriato Leal saved Sporting Clube Patrício from getting behind. 67 minutes into the game, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Albano Jauregui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viriato Leal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 76 minutes into the match, Silvério Amaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florinio Mendez. Clube Esportivo Saudade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Amaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 81st match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Ferrão to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Araújo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cutberto Acedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Viriato Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egídio Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Clube Patrício's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
