Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leal Antas made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, SC Braga's Adelino Coelho got control of the ball when Gusmão Leiria tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervásio Lages in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelino Coelho saved SC Braga from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s goal looked a bit too open when Leal Antas came free, but Maurício Estrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervásio Lages received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Adelino Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Gervásio Lages managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ɍυƒυs™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Lages was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes, Fabrício Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Braga and the Ɍυƒυs™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabrício Monteiro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gusmão Leiria got free with Adelino Coelho in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Quintanilha kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Evandro Figueiras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Estrada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the match SC Braga got a corner. Ɍυƒυs™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evandro Figueiras ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 40 minutes, Alexandre Graça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ɍυƒυs™ and the SC Braga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Graça to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Fabrício Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Estrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Estrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Monteiro in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fabrício Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Alex Parente came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ɍυƒυs™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Parente couldn't finish the play. Adelino Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Lages in the 64th minute of the match. Gervásio Lages sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Parente in the 69th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Adelino Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervásio Lages's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Alexandre Graça hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Evandro Figueiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Estrada having to interfere. Maurício Estrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Osório in the 90th minute of the match. SC Braga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
