VALPICA C.F.'s Tavio Rienda got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Ramos in the 19th minute of play forced VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Bento came free, but Rodrigo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Ornelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tavio Rienda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Queiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, VALPICA C.F.'s Medero Nadal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Ornelas. Carlos Ornelas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Medero Nadal was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Maximiliano Camara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Carlos Ornelas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aparício Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aparício Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aparício Domingues hit a great ball. Carlos Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Rienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Carlos Ornelas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Lourenço Queiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Nadal in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos got control of the ball when Aparício Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Medero Nadal during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to VALPICA C.F. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Medero Nadal hit a great ball. Carlos Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Medero Nadal put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Ornelas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goren Barba in the 82nd minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Ornelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Ramos made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Santiago Ramos sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the game, Tavio Rienda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carlos Ornelas came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by VALPICA C.F.'s Medero Nadal. But to his dismay, Medero Nadal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Carlos Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Rienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. VALPICA C.F.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
