In the 4th minute Saturnin Gala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save VALPICA C.F. from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Lastras hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Nacho Marrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The VALPICA C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, VALPICA C.F.'s Bizen Vuelta got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Goren Barba. The crowd rose to their feet as LVCVS AVGVSTI's Tipi Bodelon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Ramos. That made the score 1-1 after 49 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leal Herrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Filiberto Valverde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnin Gala. In the 64th minute, Quique Bacete made a precise shot to the right of Filiberto Valverde. LVCVS AVGVSTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as VALPICA C.F.'s Quique Bacete slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filiberto Valverde. That made the score 1-3 after 68 minutes of play. Filiberto Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnin Gala in the 71st minute of the match. Saturnin Gala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Filiberto Valverde made a huge save. After 74 minutes, Eufemio Vuelta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LVCVS AVGVSTI and the VALPICA C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The VALPICA C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VALPICA C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
