The corner was taken by Romualdo Ucero in the 15th minute. Mario Benítez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Dinamita on Grass booed when Vitória StrikerS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Paião didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Romualdo Ucero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Lemos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 36th minute, Joaquim Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Raúl Laredo. Dinamita on Grass's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 39 played minutes Vitória StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Américo Aguiar. In the 39th minute Romualdo Ucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Lemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Laredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albérico Santarém in the 43rd minute. Raúl Laredo was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Pedro Mata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Mata really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Mata made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albérico Santarém during the 54th minute. After 71 played minutes Vitória StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Fragoso. In the 72nd minute of the match Romualdo Ucero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Lemos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th match minute, Dinamita on Grass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Revuelta to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Lemos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Mas in the 79th minute of play. Alain Etxeberria came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Júlio Lemos could save by the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Zacarias Santos in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dinamita on Grass's Aureo Bajo. Clemente Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Lemos having to interfere. Lesardo Japón scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Lemos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélio Paião charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Paião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vitória StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
