Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anatoliy Mintenko kicked off to start the match. When Francois Swartenbroekx came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Fauna Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francois Swartenbroekx couldn't finish the play. Olexiy Bykaniv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arne Van Brusselen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes FC Vershina ESPN got a freekick which was hit by Anatoliy Mintenko. Henri-Xavier Justus struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Artem Gordya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. After a rather tough play, FC Vershina ESPN's Danylo Biloshapka got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Harry Custermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artem Gordya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri-Xavier Justus, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anatoliy Mintenko. Arne Van Brusselen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatoliy Mintenko in the 24th minute of the match. Olexiy Bykaniv let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 26th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Arne Van Brusselen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoliy Mintenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The FC Vershina ESPN fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when FC Vershina ESPN's Anatoliy Mintenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yannis Candries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Gordya having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henri-Xavier Justus made a kick off. Henri-Xavier Justus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Artem Gordya made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Henri-Xavier Justus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artem Gordya was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, FC Vershina ESPN's Olexiy Bykaniv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Van Brusselen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anatoliy Mintenko during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, FC Vershina ESPN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoliy Mintenko to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fauna Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Pavlenko was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Vershina ESPN's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anton Pavlenko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arne Van Brusselen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olexiy Bykaniv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Mintenko in the 78th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Vershina ESPN support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
