Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FC Bruges's Tony Henderickx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, M.⑪.M.'s Henry Bourgeois got a free kick in the 5th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Joe Van Damme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Van Der Weghen. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Van Damme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 14 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Richy Wiggers. Piet Coekelbergh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julius Balthazar in the 17th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Piet den Ronden put in a rough tackle. In the 22nd match minute, M.⑪.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piet den Ronden to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Joe Van Damme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Van Der Weghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franck Van Emelen in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, M.⑪.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yelle De Potter to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Joe Van Damme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Van Der Weghen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Benoit Descamps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tony Van Der Weghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franck Van Emelen's late challenge caught a FC Bruges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franck Van Emelen helped the player get up and apologised. Franck Van Emelen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half M.⑪.M. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franck Van Emelen made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bruges's zone, Joe Van Damme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Van Der Weghen came out of the goal and Joe Van Damme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Richy Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Van Der Weghen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benoit Descamps in the 61st minute. Tony Van Der Weghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Van Damme in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, M.⑪.M.'s Henry Bourgeois got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yelle De Potter during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 69 minutes into the game, one of M.⑪.M.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Piet Coekelbergh had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Jasper Opdebeeck's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benoit Descamps got free with Tony Van Der Weghen in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benoit Descamps during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, M.⑪.M.'s Benoit Descamps got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tony Van Der Weghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Van Emelen in the 83rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Joe Van Damme got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Van Der Weghen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yelle De Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Lorenzo Loozen fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bruges's protests and gave Lorenzo Loozen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Loozen to maneuver through the defense. The M.⑪.M. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
