In the 25th minute František Kazár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap Spijker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozef Adamica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Willem van den Brink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, ŠK Horelica's Jaap Spijker threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jozef Višňa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jozef Adamica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Jan de Lange in the 35th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by Matej Tomka. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Štrbák was the one to do the kick off. Jaap Spijker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Štrbák in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of ASC South United booed when ŠK Horelica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matej Tomka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Need to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Štrbák in the 63rd minute of play forced ASC South United's goalkeeper Jaap Spijker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harris Fokkelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Mário Štrbák ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaap Spijker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. ŠK Horelica were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ASC South United to leave the ground with a draw.
