In the 6th minute, Muhammet Cakir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borussia Dortmund's Fabian Maierhans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Kirilov in the 9th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Okan Wagner put in a rough tackle. The supporters of SvE United booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okan Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borussia Dortmund's Fabian Maierhans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velcho Itev in the 15th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Borussia Dortmund's Radko Mitziev threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wolf Hanselmann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wolf Hanselmann hit a great ball. Gencho Gudzhulov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Fabian Maierhans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Klyashev in the 34th minute of play. If Velcho Itev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolf Hanselmann kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Malin Pervazov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when SvE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genko Klyashev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Kirilov came free, but Fabian Maierhans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's Wolf Hanselmann got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slaveyko Angelakov in the 67th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Fabian Maierhans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SvE United's Radko Mitziev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolf Hanselmann in the 68th minute of play. Wolf Hanselmann struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Radko Mitziev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. In the 72nd minute, Muhammet Cakir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velcho Itev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Kirilov charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Kirilov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marko Kirilov kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The SvE United fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when SvE United's Velcho Itev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Wolf Hanselmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genko Klyashev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Borussia Dortmund supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SvE United's performance. The match ended with a win for SvE United.
