After a defensive mix-up in Botev Plovdiv 1912's zone, Dušan Neckář stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zlatin Baldev came out of the goal and Dušan Neckář tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavel Bilý made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velcho Botzov in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Zlatin Baldev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dušan Neckář. The supporters of FC Silesia Bohumín booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petko Lyubchenkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dušan Neckář struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Zlatin Baldev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Silesia Bohumín. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Ingr was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Dafin Pastirov put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pavel Bilý. Michail Brynda hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Velcho Botzov's late challenge caught a FC Silesia Bohumín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Velcho Botzov helped the player get up and apologised. Josef Ingr hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Dušan Neckář had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josef Ingr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zlatin Baldev having to interfere. Dafin Pastirov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Pavel Bilý when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zlatin Baldev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Ingr in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Velcho Botzov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pavel Bilý, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Doychin Penelov got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
