The audience thought a goal was coming when Svyatoslav Chayka got free with Gertjan Imberechts in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nazar Gerasymenko charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazar Gerasymenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, F.C. SPERANTZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazar Gerasymenko to maneuver through the defense. F.C. SPERANTZA's Dmytro Mykulyak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Sempels in the 27th minute of play. Rocky Villyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricky Sempels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gertjan Imberechts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasyl Vovk in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. SPERANTZA's zone, Rocky Villyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dmytro Mykulyak came out of the goal and Rocky Villyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes of play, Three Towers United's Ricky Sempels made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dmytro Mykulyak was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 41 played minutes Three Towers United got a freekick which was hit by Thibau Vervaeck. In the 44th match minute, F.C. SPERANTZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasyl Vovk to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Sempels made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, F.C. SPERANTZA's Bogdan Sokyrka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gertjan Imberechts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Three Towers United's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasyl Vovk in the 59th minute of play. Ricky Sempels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricky Sempels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dmytro Mykulyak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Sokyrka in the 68th minute of play forced Three Towers United's goalkeeper Gertjan Imberechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gillis Huijbregs kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, F.C. SPERANTZA's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Sempels came free, but Dmytro Mykulyak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Bogdan Sokyrka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Three Towers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Sokyrka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Arkhyp Pyatov kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Ricky Sempels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, F.C. SPERANTZA's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Sempels came free, but Dmytro Mykulyak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of F.C. SPERANTZA booed when Three Towers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibau Vervaeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Three Towers United's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Sokyrka in the 89th minute of play. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. SPERANTZA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Three Towers United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
