Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qwinten Vercammen in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volodya Feredzhanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eendracht Vooruit's Andre Parmentier suffered a concussion in the 11th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Momchil Dogazanov fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSKA-LULIN's protests and gave Momchil Dogazanov a yellow card for diving instead. Eendracht Vooruit made a substitution. Pieter-Maarten Sneijers replaced Andre Parmentier. A collision led to CSKA-LULIN getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Momchil Dogazanov hit a great ball. Volodya Feredzhanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulus Reynaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Diyan Murdzhev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's Adam Beckers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volodya Feredzhanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Tommi Claes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Volodya Feredzhanov. CSKA-LULIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommi Claes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Volodya Feredzhanov came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Eendracht Vooruit's Paulus Reynaerts. But to his dismay, Paulus Reynaerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 47 minutes of play, Eendracht Vooruit's Qwinten Vercammen made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volodya Feredzhanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

CSKA-LULIN's Volodya Feredzhanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA-LULIN from getting a goal against them. Felix Laremans came out of the goal and Diyan Murdzhev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Momchil Dogazanov kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Adam Beckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Qwinten Vercammen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Volodya Feredzhanov. Qwinten Vercammen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommi Claes got free with Volodya Feredzhanov in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
