Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Arnold Wyns came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's István Juhász. But to his dismay, István Juhász quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sándor Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickael Theunis in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Weijnants in the 14th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Sándor Jászberényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Lennert Van Meerbeec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Jászberényi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brugge United's Arnold Wyns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by István Juhász in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Brugge United's Arnold Wyns got control of the ball when Zoltán Ebedli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Meys in the 28th minute of play. After 32nd play minutes Róbert Vajda shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Arnold Wyns and just under the crossbar into goal. Sándor Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Meys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Binjamin Denturck kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Géza Sipos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sándor Jászberényi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dries Dirckx. Mickael Theunis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, István Juhász made a precise shot to the right of Arnold Wyns. Brugge United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 67 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when István Juhász came free, but Arnold Wyns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute István Juhász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Wyns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Zoltán Ebedli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Arnold Wyns was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnold Wyns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Vajda in the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Meys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sándor Jászberényi. That made the score 5-2 in the 77 minute of play. After 86 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Balázs Berta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Meys got free with Sándor Jászberényi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
