Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Bram Smits started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Bartjan Van den Panhuizen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 7 minutes, Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Rogaars in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steff Caers saved Brugge United from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bram Smits got free with Steff Caers in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes AC Pitt Bier got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Beukenkamp. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Bartjan Van den Panhuizen got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Bartjan Van den Panhuizen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brugge United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Pitt Bier the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Bartjan Van den Panhuizen got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Tjorven Jaddon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bram Smits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damien van Putten did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Steff Caers 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the AC Pitt Bier defense, Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niels Rensenbrink. The AC Pitt Bier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niels Rensenbrink should have stopped the shot. Steff Caers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bram Smits showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 32 minute of play. Bartjan Van den Panhuizen was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Bartjan Van den Panhuizen got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tim Hartogh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steff Caers. Brugge United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, AC Pitt Bier's Steff Caers threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johannes Rogaars, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Steff Caers was a little too slow when Damien van Putten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Weijnants was the one to do the kick off. Gertjan De Poorter charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gertjan De Poorter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AC Pitt Bier booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan De Poorter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niels Rensenbrink having to make a save. In the 58th minute Bram Smits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steff Caers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Weijnants's late challenge caught a AC Pitt Bier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Weijnants helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Brian Weijnants hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Bram Smits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Oude Kamphuis in the 62nd minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Steff Caers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Rogaars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Steff Caers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Bram Smits cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Steff Caers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dries Dirckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Niels Rensenbrink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Rogaars scored 5-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steff Caers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Damien van Putten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AC Pitt Bier's zone, Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niels Rensenbrink came out of the goal and Jan-Simon Raedemaeckers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Twan Lute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steff Caers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Cederique Neels put in a rough tackle. After 95 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Cederique Neels.
