Bálint Irmai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koppány Fenyvesi in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Norbert Fenyvesi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dániel Bolla kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Jakab Szarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Irmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valencia CF Mindszent's Bálint Irmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Boros in the 19th minute of play. Bálint Irmai was a little too slow when Jakab Szarka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Ákos Pölöskei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Fenyvesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Marcell Sebők was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valencia CF Mindszent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Valencia CF Mindszent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcell Sebők to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Richárd Bodonyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ákos Pölöskei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richárd Bodonyi struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ákos Pölöskei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia CF Mindszent.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakab Szarka to make the kick off. Richárd Bodonyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ákos Pölöskei having to interfere. Norbert Fenyvesi's late challenge caught a Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Fenyvesi helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Fenyvesi. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's goalkeeper Ákos Pölöskei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Jakab Szarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Irmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Richárd Bodonyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ákos Pölöskei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richárd Bodonyi in the 87th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
