Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steffen Mühlfort made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of FC Unterrudling booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Swart didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Kevin Schuster managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Unterrudling's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Schuster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Ćiro Immobile had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olivier Kahn. Lemel SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ćiro Immobile was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Aukes got free with Nicolas Musser in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ton Janus's late challenge caught a FC Unterrudling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ton Janus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Ton Janus got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Ćiro Immobile came free, but Olivier Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, FC Unterrudling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ćiro Immobile to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Musser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ton Janus in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Steffen Mühlfort left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Unterrudling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Olivier Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márió Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, FC Unterrudling's Márió Gomez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olivier Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ton Janus made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Nicolas Musser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ćiro Immobile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Olivier Kahn made a huge save. Lemel SV's Olivier Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márió Gomez in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Ćiro Immobile came free, but Olivier Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Unterrudling getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ćiro Immobile hit a great ball. Olivier Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márió Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ćiro Immobile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olivier Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Steffen Mühlfort reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olivier Kahn. The goal made the score 1-4. After 76 played minutes FC Unterrudling got a freekick which was hit by Stephan-Andreas Richter. After some careless play in the Lemel SV defense, Ćiro Immobile kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivier Kahn. The Lemel SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivier Kahn should have stopped the shot. When the match was over FC Unterrudling could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lemel SV throughout the match.
